Going light with Salon Vim

Dead serious about going light, Salon Vim here I come again! You’re probably wondering if all that colouring would dry out my hair, but really, knowing how to use the right products & being religious with monthly treatments, you get more than just temporary smoothness & shine.

I did the Cure Pod treatment today & in all honesty, I’m very amazed by the results. I’m getting pretty disciplined with hair maintenance & that’s because results are visible each time. You can probably judge for yourself from the pictures, I don’t rave about a treatment for no reason. We should care for our hair like how we care for our face!

Salon Vim is located at 313 Somerset #04-07/08/09. Quote ‘Agri Velt’ when making an appointment to enjoy 10% off all hair services. Alas, my favourite stylist, John Tham’s a hot favourite with plenty!

Ps, have you ever wondered how you could achieve panoramic lashes without the help of falsies? Thanks to Pink Parlour’s Barbie Curl lashes, I can now kiss falsies goodbye! The procedure took less than 30 minutes & there was no pain whatsoever, & the results would last for about 3 weeks! Without even having to manually curl my lashes before stepping out of the house, all I need is to apply a few coats of mascara over. Pretty damn amazing, isn’t it?

no more monday blues

Decided to trim my hair a lil’ & give it a lil’ texture at Salon Vim. Lucky for me there’s always John Tham to count on to give my hair that bounce that I’m constantly seeking for.

Salon Vim’s located at 313 Somerset #04-07/08/09. Truth be told, I’m getting a tad bored with my hair colour, I’m definitely going at least three shades lighter on my next visit!

Had lunch afterwards over at 313 as well. Managed to catch up with Apple after what seemed like forever, and I almost forgot pigging out was what we used to do best!

There’s also the cover shoot for REV Magazine. I had plenty of fun on set despite the scorching sun, many thanks to the fabolous crew!

Not so much of a daytime person, but I’m slowly learning to embrace the sun! I consider that a good thing. Alright now, it’s time to grab some dinner before my body takes a toll on me!

Pink Parlour’s Princess Manicure

Woke up to a pair of sore eyes & feeling extremely groggy. Had the sudden urge to give my hands some tender loving care instead, hence the trip down to Pink Parlour. I love how I can cast all my worries aside here & leave the nitty gritty to the professionals.

I strongly recommend the Princess Manicure that’s inclusive of a relaxing hand massage & a smoothie hand scrub. The strawberry scrub smelt so good I was tempted to have a taste of it. Would have been mad embarrassing had I really done that!

Eventually settled for a midnight blue base after trying out multiple colours. Thankfully my manicurist was extremely patient towards a fickle-minded me!

Goodbye bland nails! Here I am with a bedazzled finish, you know you can’t blame me for being madly in love with them.

Feel pampered to the max & be perfectly fabolous with Pink Parlour! Remember to make an appointment in advance & do it quick. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

There’s a world out there I’m not exactly done exploring, but nothing matters most than listening to your heart & giving in to your indulgence. Time for me to quit hibernating & start being back on track. Stay tuned for the upcoming collection in a couple of days!

all things irreversible

Over the weeks where everyday involved running about & lesser sleep time. Didn’t realize how much I’ve been neglecting this space too, my bad. Just when I thought I could spend all weekend catching up on sleep & updating here, Hong Kong forbids me to.

Velvet with the BFF. You know you’re in trouble when you’re having that much jaggerbombs, then again, we’re anything but mellow. Bring it on!

Dinner at Z’en Japanese Restaurant.

Then, there was the retouching of emerging roots at Salon Vim by Chez Vous. Also, my hair was a trainwreck with its limp texture. With the help of L’oreal Cataplasme treatment, the end result is revitalized hair!

I went ahead with the INOA Colouring, which had a high concentration of oil. What’s so unique about INOA? It has no odour since there’s not presence of ammonia, & there’s a significant reduction of stinging on the scalp. Aside from that, it exceptionally evens colour from roots to ends. Plus, hair fibre is better protected & hair after colouring has a silky smooth feel.

In summary, INOA is of unique comfort, has infinite colour power & cares for the hair fibre. Request for INOA Colouring when you make an appointment with Salon Vim @ Somerset 313.

Hair still looks revitalized after many washes & silky smooth to the touch. Alright not, my apologies for the lack of updates. My schedule’s been so packed I could barely catch proper sleep. I’d be back to being productive in a couple of days, so stay tuned & have an awesome weekend!
