When it comes to dining, I’m all about the meat despite my tiny frame. Seriously. Picture my excitement when Ben & I decided to give The King Louis a shot. Meat fest here we come!
For starters we had the Banana Bacon Bite. We were pretty skeptical about this at the start probably due to the unlikely combination. But the minute we took a bite into one, we were sold. This is a MUST-TRY!
When two gluttons dine together, it’s not possible to have just one bowl of soup for sharing. Yes beyond cure we are, but our stomachs are bottomless pits. Ben had the Signature Mushroom Soup while I had the Pumpkin Soup. Both our bowls were licked squeaky clean because it was THAT GOOD.
The Teriyaki Chicken Salad was also one of the restaurant’s signatures. A pity I don’t take any greens, but the succulent Teriyaki Chicken drenched in the warm sauce was enough to send me floating in heaven.
Let’s welcome the most sinful platter of the night – The Queen Victoria. It consists of Roasted Beef with Black Pepper Sauce, Premium BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Pan-Seared Snapper with Wasabi Mayo Sauce, Oven Baked King Prawns with Melted Australian Cheese, Sauteed Scallop with Garlic & Wine Sauce. Just the sight of these pictures is making me drool incessantly!
Despite having a belly from all that meat already, still we couldn’t say no to a platter of fries. I don’t know what’s the secret to the these fries, but we took quite a long tour around the restaurant & when we came back to eat it, it was still as crispy as ever. Genius!
